PROBLEM

4ocean was previously using an old theme through WordPress, as their company grew they needed something custom including all UI and UX designs, custom development, custom plugins, and utilities that help their business grow daily.

CHALLENGES

We were stuck in multiple different directions with the creative director and how we were going to execute this using their brand guidelines.  Displaying the right message with the right look that had to be consistent throughout their large store that we helped create from scratch.  A deadline with only 90 days to complete, working over 60-80 hours a week juggling multiple departments with needing approvals & making changes to everyone's needs on their team.

The 4ocean website serves as an important tool for the company, as it provides information about their mission and products, and allows customers to purchase bracelets and other products to support their cause.

The website also features educational resources, including information about ocean plastic pollution and how 4ocean is working to address the issue.  By using the power of e-commerce and the reach of the internet, 4ocean is able to engage a global audience and raise awareness about the importance of ocean conservation. The revenue generated from sales on their website enables 4ocean to finance their ocean clean-up efforts and invest in new technologies and programs that further their mission. Overall, the 4ocean website plays a crucial role in the company's efforts to clean up the ocean and protect marine life.

Strategy Session.

  1. Optimize for conversion: Make sure their website is designed to convert visitors into customers by using clear calls-to-action, streamlining the checkout process, and making sure the site is easy to navigate.

  2. Use data-driven insights: Utilize analytics tools to track visitor behavior on their site, such as what pages they visit and how long they stay, to make informed decisions about design and marketing strategies.

  3. Offer personalized experiences: Personalization helpws increase engagement and conversions by tailoring the website experience to each individual visitor's preferences and needs.

Plan of Action.

We had to determine what we wanted to achieve with their website, such as increasing sales, building brand awareness, or providing information to customers.

Making sure we studied their target audience to understand their needs, preferences, and behavior.  Deciding what type of content they wanted to include on their website and how it was to be structured.

 

The next step would be to build them a website and test it for functionality and user experience.  Then we would launch and continuously optimize it for better performance and results.  Making sure we regularly monitored their website performance and made adjustments as needed.  By following this plan of action, we were able to create a strong website that drives growth for their business.
